Our Story
At Earth Wood and Fire of Concord, we believe that art and its process have the power to inspire and heal. That's why we started our business, to meet like-minded people and work together to grow through art. We met in 2010 on eHarmony and have been together ever since finding ways to merge our creativity, especially in raising three boys.
Jennie
Jennie graduated from UNC-Greensboro in 1998 with a degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. She is a teacher with an artist's heart. She has been throwing pottery since 1996 and teaching children's pottery classes. She now teaches reading, writing and social studies to third-graders by day and art classes to all ages by night.
William
William is a self-taught wood artisan specializing in using jigsaws and band saws to create beautiful heirloom puzzles from local, reclaimed wood. His puzzles can be custom made for any shapes or designs, and they allow for laser personalization. William enjoys learning new skills and adding to his ever-growing repertoire of wood working.
